My family and I (twin incuded!!!) went to celebrate my birthday over a month after my birthday.  It's nice to feel the love!

Anyway, my sister got attacked by a fork, but it's okay, she didn't get hurt.

And thus ended the festivities for Birthday 2011.  TWAS A GOOD ONE!

why you so speechless?

For my NEXT birthday trick...

Lady Gaga (or Ga-GA as a few privileged are allowed to call her..) called Jenell and I and BEGGED us to come out to eat with her at the boardwalk hall in atlantic city.  Little did we know, it was a surprise party.  And it had a photobooth.  See?
That was all a lie.  That was just the photobooth on my phone.  Sigh.
Anyway!  We went to the MONSTER BALL in ATLANTIC CITY, and despite requests to sit down, we couldn't.  We just could not sit down.  We had to dance and do this...

It was fun. I think I could go to the Monsterball once a month.. her music is that fun.   I'm stoked to go to the "Born This Way Ball" (i think she should change the name.)  already.  AND!  We were the first concert that got to see her perform "Born This Way", so, yeah, be jealous, cause I know you are.  Right?  Yeah.. right?  You are?  Anyway.  It's a bloody good time which is why this picture is appropriate:

Side story that is awesome:  when this drag queen dressed as Lady Gaga walked down an aisle to get to her seat, everyone in the arena seriously thought it was Lady Gaga and took pictures and were screaming and clapping.  It was brilliant.  I felt really proud for the Drag Queen -- success!  Jenell and I had seen her earlier in a bar, so we knew it wasn't Lady Gaga.  But people really thought it was her, even when she and I were telling people, "it's a dude!" .. they didn't listen!

Later, Jenell sucessfully surprised me with these delicious strawberry icing/strawberry cake cupcakes.  Be Jealous, ya'll.  They were DELICIOUS!!

GOOD TIMES GOOD TIMES!

woke up in the morning feeling like P.Diddy

I swore I'd never watch, "Undercover Boss", but one day my mother had it on and I ended up getting sucked into it. It was the Hooters episode -- and really, it just made me want to go to hooters and have some wings!!  So Matt J, Jenell and I went to Hooters in AC!!

I had been to two other hooters before this, and I'm starting to realize that the trend at hooters is to pour a glass of grease on your plate before putting your food onto it. I'm catching on, I got it. ANYWAY, we met a guy who had a big list of accomplisments, check it out.. he...
  1. sold a company for $42 million
  2. Is a model scout
  3. Is a man who teaches celebrities how to party
  4. Is a club promoter
I mean, there's no way he was just listing all these things to impress Jenell.  Why would he do that?  That just doesn't make any sense.  He obviously is all those things.. AMAZING.  Why she didn't try to get his number I will never know...   Maybe it was his St. Patty's day tophat? I just don't know.

Anyway, I lost $21.50 by the end of the night and was bummed I couldn't find any blackjack computer machines (that's the way to make money for me.. ).  We met/saw a lot of crazy drunk people who were looking for the casinos receptionist, flirting with security guards and were in search of cigarettes.   Aw, and the poor guy who had passed out from consuming WAY TOO MUCH alcohol.

I got this dollar somewhere in my travels, and it has since been passed back into the money ring.  I just want to say, if anyone finds this dollar, please do not believe it.  I knew the Timmons, and they're all very nice people.

GOOD TIMES.  and really..... to be continued......

never knew how much i loved you

For my celebration with my family, we all went to the Cheesecake factory.   Some Little Monster interrupted my picture.

Anyway, yes, The Cheesecake Factory with my family.  What was nice about this dinner, is that my brother and I managed to find a way to drive my sister insane.  My sister is one of those people who will find something that annoys them, and they will not rest until that action or object is destroyed.  I found out that if I just hold my hand up like I'm holding my flip cam (even though I'm not) and just turn it towards her, she can't stand living.   Then my brother found out, if he just lifts his arm above his head, she needs to walk away.  So when we left the restaurant, I "filmed" her and he kept waving at her to get her attention.  Meanwhile, she was running across the parking lot screaming, "stop!!!"

She just makes it too easy, I mean really...

ma ma ma monster

I worked on my birthday this year, and I spent it with my faaaavvvvoorite class. I got lots of homemade birthday cards, I got sung to many a time, and we even had a birthday party for me and my present was this box of donut holes (and a nice bracelet from Aliza, but i didn't take a picture of that)!

Later in the evening, I went to Philly and met up with Matt and he tried desperately to find a bank that swore he saw one day during the span of time he has lived in Philly. I started to think he made up the whole thing and was just going to kill me in a park, but, I was wrong, and we eventually found his bank.

After that, we went to one of my favorite restaurants, Cosi, and met up with the wonderfully talented Jenell! Since it was my bday, we got some S'mores and they were SUPER GOOD! (picture says a thousand words.)

Then sweet, sweet Marshmallow Jesus was born. (Matt was the artist) We ended up sticking him in a pile of snow. I really do hope that a homeless person found him and has a nice little religious statue now. Not eat him, just pray. Unfortunately, though we spied for awhile, we didn't see anyone take Marshmallow Jesus. I saw someone lean over to look at him, but that's as far as it got.

I hope he's found a good home! That's all I REALLY wanted for my bday!

and so we put that kid back where she came from

My birthday was rung in with my dear friends Jenell and Steve.  At midnight, they sang "happy birthday" to me, and even got the wait staff to sing along, and the one guy even said happy birthday to me over the loud speaker.  It was a pretty big event really, I'll be surprised if Broadway doesn't buy the rights to this.  I mean, there was an organized dance and everything.

But, Jenell gave me this delicious cupcake, and I honestly thought she made it because that girl has all the cake skills.  But she's saying she bought it.. who knows.

Twas a good time.... even though no one knew how to make a dirty girl scout.

i hope my boyfriend don't mind it.

FEBRUARY 17th MARKS MY BIRTHDAY.
So Jenell did the right thing and took me to a fountain!I was told not to make any plans cause there were "reservations". So this sent me into "crack the puzzle" mode and guess what? there was no way in hell I was going to guess this. Jenell and Lisa took me to a very special secret Metric show that they were putting on in Philly for my birthday!
It was a very stripped down show which was really cool to see, plus they previewed a lot of their new album so it made me excited for the release of that, but bummed because it doesn't come out until April.
So that was really awesome and I'm glad they concocted such a plan. After Metric had their acoustic rock show and I had some chicken fingers, Jenell brought out the unique birthday cupcakes. This year she did smores cupcakes, graham crackers on the bottom, chocolate middle (with real chocolate chunks!), fluff top, and a piece of graham cracker on top! That girl tops herself each year with this.
so thank you thank you thank you a million times over. people should be jealous!

black and gold

this is the ridiculous beer tower I wanted for my birthday in the beginning of the night.
this is the beer tower obstructing jenell and lisa's views of each other.
this is the beer tower practically EMPTY (and in the dark.)
thank you frriieends and eff you disaster!

happy birthday to me!

THE FINAL DAY OF MY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION took place on Sunday, my actual Birthday. Jenell kidnapped me and wouldn't tell me where we were going.

so we took the awesome mix jenell made me and we TRAVELED VERY FAR

And after leading me VERY astray with misleading clues... I was really totally surprised to find LISA up in HAMILTON. For realz, ya'lls... that was tricky.

So we boarded a train to NYC..

And then we waited.....

FOR EAVVON!!!!!

Then after a long birthday present search excursion to Louis Vuitton, the four of us went traveling to some Sushi place. It was that or S'MAC but that seemed like an extra trip in the way too cold.. so I made the deal for sushi. MAAAN between Jenell flinging tuna onto the floor and Eavvon stepping on it, thinking it was a "squishy rock" and Lisa trying to eat chicken... L-O-L-Z AAAHHH

We did a lot of traveling on the subway...

Jenell had super human strength

And Lisa smelt a stinky one...

I'd post pictures from PINKBERRY but guess what? CAN'T. But I was very happy to finally get there. I feel like I've heard so much about that place, then Jenell taste tested in December and approved so it was finally my turn. And guess what? I approve as well. I think any place that offers fruity pebbles as a topping deserves an A+

Anyway - we later people watched in Pennsylvania Station for about 70 hours. But once you get in there, you find a plethora of odd people. We're talking 60 year old male cheerleaders in female uniforms, some US Chavs, some sexy cops, some old lady that never gives up, a little boy in overalls who can't stop spinning.. and lots lots more.

It all ended with Jenell putting on comfortable shoes!

All in all, a very well thought out, fun day. I'd go into more detail, but guess what? I GOTTA GO TO BAND PRACTICE, BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!

but for reals, thank you, friends :) you gave me a happy birthday! I can't even pick a best day! AH YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME.
really gotta go now.
