kiss me. kiss kiss kiss me

After many hours in a car, we all made it to Erie, PA for the first of two bridal shower's for my brother's fiancee.  Let's see what I can remember about this day..

Some 40+ woman was put off by the lewd humor in "Bridesmaids", Lindsey got a lot of stuff, Lindsey's family is so nice, I bought new shoes at DSW, we got to see Lindsey in her wedding dress, we celebrated my grandmother's birthday at Oakmont where my sister felt like she was hanging out with Jay-Z (it was just my Uncle, though.), and we drove in the car.  A lot.

Very fun day.  Very exhausting day.  Very.

i am not your senorita

My mom's cousin brought over a lot of old pictures for us to look through.  I really do love looking through old pictures, especially if they're of my Grandfather being young and handsome or of my Mom and Uncles being little kids.  Crazy stuff!

I also love when you find pictures of the Nun's picnic that would happen occasionally while a little girl was playing with a huge firearm.  Great memories.

the pressure is on, you feel it

Basically when we go on "vacation" with my mom's family, we get errands to do all day in preparation for a bigger celebration that will take place at another time.  UNFORTUNATELY, this errand had nothing to do with any celebration I would be attending.
I got to deliver about 500 cookies and a whole bunch of other sweets to a reception hall for a wedding I wasn't even attending.

The Plus Side to This:
- the Mother of the bride made us try "the best" cookies before delivering them
- I got to see the cutest little tiny kitten
- There were a lot of wildflowers by the Bride's house

The Negative Side to This:
- We got lost for an hour.
- The kitten was named after a Twilight character
- They also had big long haired dogs that set my allergies a'blazin

another packed day with many special guests.
My cousin and I embraced our girl side and went to get our nails did.  We got this new stuff that basically is a gel on your fingers.  It's weird because I'll literally have dust on my fingers sometimes. I'm not sure if I like this stuff, I think if I get my nails done again, I'll get them done with regular ol' paint.  Not to mention the colors lied to us.  Emily wanted this purple color and got blood red.  I wanted an almost black purple and got .. purple.  What the WHAT!?

After, I was introduced to "New Moon:  The Twilight Saga" -- needless to say, I thought it was just as funny as "Twlight".  Hysterical!

THEN I went to Chilis with Emily and my sister and I learned a lot about Chilis.  For real.

But then, I met with my dear friends Jenell, Nathan and Jimmy for some drinks and laughs.  I realized something funny that night about when the four of us hang out.  We ALWAYS get to a point where we just sit around and make random noises.  Like, "WooooooWWEE" or "nanananana", seriously.  Everyone will just be making their weird noise.
