Jenell played at this little restaurant place. i got to just chill and listen this time, and i had this aweeesome four course meal while doing so. Anyway, the music was good, the company was good, and i made a new best friend for lyfe! ....But I forget his name. Shit. Hm. Okay maybe a new best friend for a few minutes while I tried to eat my salmon.

Despite a migraine and cold - jenell put on a lovely little set at the bus stop. She did well despite the elements she was facing


After, we skipped a slow dance party and instead went to the cheesecake factory where jenell became possessed by guess who, lisa took the best picture ever in her opinion, and I had the happiest time of my life.

I may have gotten up earlier that I wanted to.
and, I may have been really hot all day.
plus, I may have had a lot of trouble trying to pick food to eat at the bus stop.

(a) Jenell's mom tried to pay for Jenell, Lisa and mine's dinner only to have it go all wrong and she really paid for another table's dinner!!

(b) Jenell's E-string broke during her third song and it snapped her in the face, causing her to slightly bleed on her right cheekbone!!

(c) When Lisa came in the door, she looked around to find us, tripped on a chord and fell in front of everyone!!

(d) I went to the bathroom and the toilet overflowed!!

Jenell sang and wow-ed Lisa and I while we ate delicious pizza.

therefore, the night recieved a 9 out of 10 possible stars.
would have been a 9 if jenell coulda hung more and watched herself play.....

Ah there are so many things wrong with this picture. I stood where I wanted it taken and then the random man who took it backed up so you could see that Jenell, Bryan and I werent REALLY on a pumpkin farm.

I'm sure if he had stayed where I had it, it totally would have seemed like we were just hanging out in a pumpkin patch... pretending to be scareacrows.

it's not healthy for me to feel this way

i went to work and was really tired from being chased around millville all night.. so that kinda sucked.
i came home and got changed and got unfortunate presents from being a female.. so that kinda sucked.
but it was WORTH it to hear the lovely sounds of Jenell (yes, of jenell and the yets, i know right? how cool.), take a bazillion pictures of people's feet and people watch the fine citizens of Millville.
Then I totally turned old lady and slept when i got home until like 1:45 and stuff, but whatever!

INTERESTING HAPPENINGS TONIGHT AT THIRD FRIDAY:

• Downpour on all the unsuspecting public
• Ze Je-Nell at Revelation Records
• All the firetrucks and ambulances on high street do to someone running into Regional Music. They went forward instead of backwards. D'oh.
• totally random conversation with someone I haven't seen in a long time that lasted about 30 seconds
• A new found hope to release Jenell and the Yets album by October so we can say "Octobot" with the date.

it's all in the way we know that we could have it all

Jenell and I went to an Open Mic thing tonight at some record store. I bought another copy of Bush's "Razorblade Suitcase" which I lost long ago. That was the first album I really fell in love with I think. Well, it was the first album that I knew a release date of and went to the store day of and listened to over and over again.

I'm listening to it now and it totally takes me back to my bedroom when I was 12 years old. I remember where my dresser was, my bed, the posters on my wall. But I really remember laying on my floor with my feet on my dresser and listening to this album while staring at Gavin Rossdale *SIGH*

But this is totally a winter album. If that makes any sense.

9. How much little kids really do love carrots
10. Jenell's evil tricks to keep us from ditching her at wawa. SHES A SMART ONE.

On that note, I'm going to go to bed! I've had way too much excitement today as you can see...

even though lisa (poopson) did not come, the night went along fine and it was discovered that jenell would market great to kids. they freaking love her.
I'm not sure how Sitar Bob did with children tonight at HIS show across the street, but I'm thinking a world tour to pre-schools would go over fantastically.
