Two shows in one day?! Yeah that's what Jenell and the Yets did!
The second one though?
Well it was our great Privilege to play with our friends, Hello Tokyo. Jenell and I have been going to see them for many a year now, so it was cool to get to play a show with them!
See there's proof. Same stage!
Afterwards, Hello Tokyo + 3/4 of J&theY + Lisa And Katie went to Denny's.
Denny's was at full force that night. When we arrived, the place was covered in cops, and the one cop outside told us we should just have our phones close and keep em set to 911!

You'd think with a warning like that, a group of friends would bond together and only grow stronger. But guess what?

We were divided.

Yes Denny's divided our group. Here's a picture of the sad table. (the sadness is obviously displayed on Kat's face.) Vince is obviously laying out a plan on how to get over to the cool table*. This kind of sucked, but it kind of worked out for J&theY. We gained another drummer! WHAD AP SAM!!!!!!!

picture me and then you start watching

Hello Tokyo came to Philly, and after seeing piles of dirty, "clever" sayings, and seeing men in unlocked public bathrooms.... Jenell, Lisa, and I went and saw them. This is Eavvon talking about doing hoodrat stuff with his friends.

OF COURSE, they were awesome. I think Eavvon is a nice addition to the band. Not only does he offer more sound, but he lets Kat run wild.

And we even talked about one of the most fantastic pictures ever.

On Friday - the 25th - Hello Tokyo released their CD, "Sell the Stars" the the masses. They also premiered Eavvon as a member to Jenell, Lisa, Katie and I.

BUT we all finally got to give Eavvon his Christmas presents, which made him jump in the rain for joy!

what was great about the evening with hello tokyo is we hardly had to spend time in a loud, crowded bar. John let us preview HT's album, so we in turn let him hear a song off the upcoming Jenell and the Yets album! We discussed the band's own Incovient Truths and upcoming trips...

but what was sad about this night? I lost mah CMC badge :(

(a) freaking out because he realized later he'd bring sexy back.
(b) scared to death of Sam's face.
(c) freaking out because someone suspected the kids upstairs had reefer
(d) a bit scared because he found out his class heard he was talkin shit.
OR
(e) just totally excited to be in Philly with his band, Hello Tokyo, and the coolest of the cool: Jenell and myself.
