I'm a big fan of thunderstorms, so I was pretty stoked when the skies were starting to get dark. HOWEVER, once it started raining, I realized that there was something scary about this thunderstorm. The winds were pretty crazy, the rain was just in sheets, and the thunder was non-stop.
After it was done, my dad went to go make sure everything was okay at his job and came home to tell me that I had to go see what was going on down the street from us. Needless to say, things got pretty crazy around Millville. Lots of trees were torn down, split in half... power lines were taken out... streets were shut down... and a real sign of crazy stuff going on? Wawa was closed.
My house lost power for 8 hours.. I thought life sucked for me until I found out some people didn't get power back for 2 days.
