"LOST" is over. A show I have been obsessed with for the longest time. A show I have read theory upon theory upon, not to mention reading about philosphers who have the same name as characters, and all the book summaries of books that appeared in the show. It seemed there were so many clues being thrown the ENTIRE time about the solution and well..... as it turned out.... it was just.... not important to the end at all?
BUT. I really did like the finale. I thought it was a pretty awesome finale. However, I felt like it was just a finale for season 6 of "Lost". It didn't seem like a finale of the whole show. There were tons of things that weren't answered that had always seemed like really big deals for the endgame of the whole show. Like....
What's the deal with Widmore/Ben? What's the deal with Widmore in general? What's the deal with DARHMA? How did DARHMA even know where to find the island or that it even exsisted?! What the hell is the island? Why is the island so magical? Why was Walt to magical? What happened to the new Kwon baby orphan?! And you know what? Just like in "Pulp Fiction", we'll never know exactly what the shiny gold stuff is..
Overall, the show has been fun to follow and try to figure out and discuss and I will miss it. I'm glad I never gave up on it and stuck through it til the end. And I'm glad Locke and Jack became my favorite characters all over again.
oh and ps - if anyone cares, the man in black has a name, and it is "Samuel"

oh and pss - if you want to make me mad, try to tell me that they all died when the plane crashed. CAUSE THEY DIDNT, OKAY?!
