I've had my license for 7 years now, almost 8, and still, when I drive with my parents, they act as they did when I had my permit.

here is a scenario from today:
*approaching a red light, start to slow*
*light turns green and I still have time to drive up to the light*
*i make my turn*
"Jamie, you didn't even stop and check to make sure no one was coming."
"It was green"
"Someone could have hit your car"
"But it was green when I got to it."
"I would have hit your car, cause I would have sped up at that yellow light."
"Why were you running a red light?"

GAH.
