i don't think i'll make it on my own

I really like David Sedaris' books. The way he tells his stories with such sarcasm and dark humor is amazing. I just finished "Dress your Family in Corduroy" and it, like the others was filled with good short stories. This one seemed a bit more introspective and "I'm learning" than the other books, but it was still really funny. David is WAY better than a guy who writes books about guys takin care of business* and making whoopie* with their girlfriend. I think he's my favorite author, for realz, friends.

* - i had to use innocent terms for what i really want to say. I don't need more people finding my blog while googling dirty words and phrases like "how to (garden with)* my sister". Guess now we know why "whatever the fuck" wasnt the GREATEST idea for a blog title.

i'm a couple of chapters into this book, and i have comments to add to this on going tale. I can see your dislike, but i can't say i hate it. And while i realize it is very much like a book o porn, i think that that tounge-in-cheek aspect of what people think men think of, makes it funny.
