you're tryin to perfect your aim, ain't cha?

This was my grandfather's "Quater Pounder". As you can see, it's a clothes pin with a mallet glued to the top that pounds the quater that is glued to the piece of wood. He made it all by himself and whenever we went to his house, he'd always show us the Quater Pounder. I, of course, thought it was so creative and funny and whenever someone new came to his house, I made him show them the quater pounder.

Things like this encompass my memories of him. He was a funny, nice man who always said funny things and he didn't care who he said them too. Asked odd questions just to make people laugh and always stood behind his stories so we'd have to ask other people for the truth. And even though I think of him daily, it never feels like he's been gone that long. Definently doesn't feel like a whole year.

I swear I'll get back to the true topic of this blog, Jenell, soon! I've been so slacking when it comes to her!
