Matt J and I went to Saigon and decided to try some bubble tea. Don seems to really enjoy it, and it seems interesting, so why not?
Unfortunately, for me, for some reason, the flavor I ordered couldn't be bubbleized that evening, so I got mine in a slushie form. I don't know why. I just know it was only available as a slushie that evening and the guy seemed really apologetic when he told me about it.
BUT Matt got his, and we couldn't help but wonder what the little black balls were in the bottom of the glass. I get that they're the bubbles, but what are the bubbles? We're guessing they're bugs.
Alas, we'll never know because he left his cup at the restaurant. So, due to any other proof and based purely on speculation, the bubbles in the bubble tea are bugs.
You're welcome!
